Financial Reporting Specialist

GCS Malta is growing, and we are currently actively looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist to join us!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance on financial reporting matters and new/evolving accounting standards.
  • Drafting and reviewing financial statements and disclosures for clients to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Conduct in-depth research on IFRS and GAPSME standards and complex accounting scenarios.
  • Advise clients on technical matters
  • Provide support to accounts/audit teams on complex areas requiring technical expertise.
  • Review working papers and ensure proper documentation of technical conclusions.
  • Develop and deliver training and presentations to clients and internal teams
  • Prepare and circulate technical updates, articles, or bulletins to staff on changes in accounting regulations or best practices.
  • Prepare consolidation workings.

If you are knowledgeable in IFRSs, GAPSE and GAPSME, then you should not miss this one! Previous working experience within the industry is considered an asset.

The chosen candidate must also have proficiency in English language whilst knowledge in Maltese would be considered as an asset. Excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
