Our year started on a positive note, and we’re ending it on an even higher note, as we gear up for 2021. Take a look back with us as we highlight some essential factors of what went down at GCS Malta in 2020.

Launch of new services.

2020 brought with it the introduction of two new services to GCS Malta’s exhaustive list of services. The new services include Marketing and Project Management. Introducing these services continues to enhance GCS Malta’s one-stop-shop concept. Dedicated teams of highly experienced professionals are appointed to be able to deliver the two new services at a high-quality level for clients to maximise results. Click here for information on our marketing services and visit here for our project management services.

Employee growth.

Our team of #GCSeers is growing year by year, and 2020 was no different. 12 new GCSeers joined the GCS Malta team, all forming part of various departments. As GCS Malta continues to grow as a business with an increase in clients and services, we continue to invest in educated and experienced individuals to join our ever-growing team. Team activities.

As we continue to invest in team growth to provide clients with a satisfactory service, GCS Malta continues to invest in its employees. The launch of a team activities planner took place in 2020. Team-building events such as karaoke, wine and pizza night amongst others were the highlight of this year’s GCSeers activities. The GCSeers also enjoyed other monthly events such as croissant day, pizza day, Woman’s day and more. Unfortunately, the planner got cut short due to Covid-19, which saw us missing out on our Annual Summer Party. Instead, all GCSeers were given a voucher to enjoy at one of Marion Mizzi’s spas!

Remote working.

As the Covid-19 pandemic affects the entire world, GCS Malta had to adjust to new regulations and a new means of operations in 2020. The whole team worked on a remote basis for four months, to be able to safeguard the health of our GCSeers. This change required time and investment in operational methods to ensure meeting clients’ expectations without failure. As some regulations were lifted on a local level, GCS Malta introduced a rotational shift basis for GCSeers to work both from home and the office. By also abiding to regulations set by the government, we continue to ensure the safety of our employees. Launch of Covid-19 support measures.

The pandemic that hit the Maltese islands earlier this year continues to affect us all. In June 2020, GCS Malta launched Covid-19 support measures campaign that aided businesses who were critically hit. For this, a total of €1 million was allocated by GCS Malta that offered measures in Accounting, Payroll, Audit & Tax, recruitment, Marketing and Human Resources. The campaign was a success as it gave companies a helping hand where needed.

Conferences.

As a company, we invest in our professionals to attend conferences that give insight into current or future matters and to network with other professionals from different backgrounds. This year’s seminars were a mix of physical and virtual events. Representatives of GCS Malta attended the following:

KSU careers expo

Marketing Kingdom Malta 2

Finance Malta Annual Conference

EY Malta Future Realised Week 2020

Malta SME week

Dublin Tech Summit Virtual 2020

Partnerships.

GCS Malta continues to support companies through partnerships. An extension of our collaboration with Valletta FC continued throughout 2020. A signed partnership with Lija FC took place in 2020 too. We further heavily invested in giveaways to give something back to our followers. We started 2020 with a bang as we announced our Dubai holiday winner. Throughout the year we gave various other prizes, to mention a few:

Weekend Breaks

Pizzas

Kodak Pixpro camera

Spa day

Gym memberships

Memberships.

2020 saw with it new memberships for GCS Malta. GCS Malta is now proud members of the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Tech.mt. These two platforms provide further promotion of our business’ services and Recruitment mobile app, along with possible networking events with other organisations in the local scene.

2020 was an eventful year with all its highs and lows. We are very grateful to all our followers, employees and companies who collaborate with us by showing their trust and belief in GCS Malta. Find out what’s to come in 2021 by following this space.
